Lenovo at public edge

Performance that sets the benchmark.

Go to Lenovo

From the workplace to the data center

At public edge, Lenovo has a strong presence mainly in the server and AI space – ThinkSystem platforms for the data center and GPU computing – as well as in the workplace business with ThinkPad and ThinkCentre.

Storage plays a minor role for us and, if used at all, typically comes as an OEM solution in combination with NetApp rather than as a standalone Lenovo storage offering.

We deploy Lenovo where compute power for AI workloads or a reliable workplace is the priority – as a strength in its own right, not a bundling argument.

Our assessment

What we look at

Lenovo is especially strong where GPU-based compute power for AI workloads or a reliable, standardized workplace is needed.

In our projects, we assess factors including
technical fit integration into existing environments scalability cost-efficiency over the lifecycle vendor dependencies

Not every environment benefits from an integrated platform approach. What matters is whether the solution fits the functional, organizational and economic requirements.

The public edge perspective

Technology is not an end in itself.

That’s why we always assess every manufacturer in the context of possible alternatives and concrete project goals. Our job is not to sell a particular vendor, but to help public-sector clients make sound, long-term decisions.

Sovereign IT is not the result of vendor preferences, but of the right architecture for the task at hand.
